Artist’s notes:
My artistic practice and general interest revolve around the metaphor of light – how it reveals the truth and how it can also blind us. This interest has evolved to exploring social phenomena like the evolution of technology and its deterministic effects on society and how society affects technology as well. I thought of the laser etching as a way of “drawing with light.” The image is actually a collection of flashes of light (camera flashes) that I arranged to form a Rorschach pattern.
